Kabul: ARCS General President Holds Introductory Meeting with New Head of Qatar Red Crescent in Afghanistan

Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of ARCS, held an introductory meeting with Mr. Bahauddin Al-Najoumi, the newly appointed head of the Qatar Red Crescent Society in Afghanistan, at his office.

During the meeting, Mr. Delawar welcomed Mr. Al-Najoumi and wished him success in his new responsibilities and in providing effective services. He also assured him of continued coordination and technical cooperation between the two national societies.

Mr. Delawar expressed his appreciation for the Qatar Red Crescent’s cooperation in providing humanitarian services in Afghanistan. He also praised the services and coordination efforts of Mr. Hussain Botani, the former head of the Qatar Red Crescent in Afghanistan.

For his part, Mr. Al-Najoumi expressed his appreciation for the introductory meeting with the leadership of the ARCS and emphasized the continuation and further strengthening of joint humanitarian activities and cooperation.

It is worth noting that Mr. Al-Najoumi also met with ARCS Vice President Hafiz Azizur Rahman to discuss several technical matters and joint humanitarian activities. The discussions focused on the timely delivery of humanitarian assistance to people in need and the coordination of joint activities.
