Food Assistance Distributed to 600 Vulnerable and Repatriated Families in Panjshir and Bamyan

The ARCS, with the support from the Turkish Red Crescent, AFAD, and IHH, has distributed a total of 53.4 metric tons of food aid to 300 vulnerable families in Panjshir and 300 vulnerable and repatriated families in Bamyan. Each family received 89 kilograms of food items, including flour, cooking oil, rice, sugar, chickpeas, macaroni, tomato paste, and dates, aimed at reducing poverty.
Additionally, each family received three bars of hand-washing soap for hygiene purposes.
This assistance is expected to effectively meet the short-term food needs of the families.
