Employment, Income, and Hope: 233 Laborers Provided with Work Opportunities in Balkh

ARCS has launched a cash-for-work project valued at 6,7 million Afghanis, aimed at creating employment opportunities for 233 laborers in Salar Tapa village of Chaharbolak district, Balkh Province.
As part of the initiative, ARCS will carry out the construction of 360 square meters of concrete protection walls, the cleaning of 900 square meters of irrigation canals, and the restoration of water access to 28 jeribs of agricultural land across five villages. Under the project, skilled workers will receive a daily wage of 1,000 Afghanis, while unskilled laborers will be paid 500 Afghanis per day.
