Each family received 50 kg of flour, 5 liters of cooking oil, 10 kg of lentils, 5 kg of chickpeas, 5 kg of sugar, 2 kg of macaroni, one can of tomato paste, one packet of Cerelac, one blanket, two bottles of dishwashing liquid, three packets of laundry detergent, along with several other essential household items.
During the distribution ceremony, Mr. Delawar welcomed the refugees and said, “I am happy that you have returned to your country. It is a matter of gratitude that from now on you will spend the rest of your lives in your homeland, under the shadow of complete independence and security.”
He added that Afghanistan is a shared home for all, and with patience and strong determination, the existing challenges faced by the returnees will be resolved and their lives gradually restored to normal.
Mr. Delawar also emphasized, “The ARCS is always at the service of the people, and special attention will be given to the challenges faced by returning refugees.”
This assistance was provided to meet the short-term food and non-food needs of these families.
