Cash Assistance Distributed to the Assigned Laborers at Omari Camp in Torkham and Anzhergai Camp in Kandahar!
Today, Saturday, the 19th of April, as part of cash-for-work project, ARCS distributed a total sum of 180,000 AFN in cash assistance to 40 workers at Omari camp in Torkham, Nangarhar Province, and 20 workers at Anzhergai camp in Takht-e-Pul district of Kandahar Province. Each worker received 3,000 AFN; intended to purchase necessary items for their work.
The objective of this initiative is to enhance camp sanitation, raise public awareness among returning refugees, and to support refugees in transportation affairs. In return, workers are paid for their services accordingly.
