The ARCS launched a cash-for-work project in Anarkhel village of Central Baghlan district, Baghlan province, with financial support from the ICRC. The project will provide temporary employment to 120 workers for 30 days.

The project will provide short-term employment and income opportunities for vulnerable and affected families. The workers will be engaged in cleaning water canals, carrying out basic repairs on small dams, and installing iron gates and sluice gates.

Upon completion of the project, several water-related public facilities in the area will be cleaned and rehabilitated, helping address some of the water needs of local residents.
