Baghlan: 13 Flood-Affected Families Receive AFN 390,000 in Cash Assistance

The ARCS provided AFN 390,000 in cash assistance to 13 families in Puli Khumri, the provincial capital, and Khinjan District of Baghlan Province who suffered human and financial losses as a result of the recent floods.

The assistance was provided with the support of the Red Cross Society of China, with each family receiving AFN 30,000.

The cash assistance was provided to help meet the flood-affected families’ immediate and basic needs, enabling them to address their essential requirements and reduce the hardships caused by the disaster.

The ARCS strives to deliver timely assistance to families affected by natural disasters and to play an effective role in meeting their urgent needs.
