ARCS General President Inspects Camp for Kunar Earthquake Survivors

Sheikh Ul Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, together with directors from the eastern zone, the Kunar branch, and other officials, inspected a temporary shelter camp established for earthquake survivors in Nurgal district of Kunar Province.
During the visit, Mr. Delawar assessed the condition of the temporary shelters, the overall situation of affected families, and the availability of sanitation facilities as well as the distribution of humanitarian aid. While extending condolences to the bereaved and affected families, he assured them that the ARCS will continue to provide essential amenities and address the immediate needs of the victims. He reiterated that the ARCS stands by earthquake victims and has sustained relief operations since the onset of the disaster, remaining committed to providing additional humanitarian and medical assistance.
To help address urgent challenges, Mr. Delawar also distributed lanterns to alleviate the lack of electricity in the camp.
