ARCS Delegation Meets with Turkish Red Crescent Officials to Strengthen Humanitarian Efforts

On an official visit to Türkiye, a delegation from ARCS led by Under-Secretary General Abdul Latif Sabit, held a strategic meeting with senior officials of Turkish Red Crescent’s departments of International Programs, Operations, and Migrants to discuss ways of supporting returning refugees, addressing natural disasters, and enhancing humanitarian collaboration.

During the meeting, ARCS delegation briefed on the ongoing humanitarian services within Afghanistan and underscored the urgent need of supporting returnees through targeted aid and livelihood opportunities. 

In response, Turkish Red Crescent pledged to sustain its collaboration with ARCS and expressed its intent to scale up additional humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan in the near future.
He hopped that in the future further assistance will be reaching to Afghanistan via railway.
