ARCS Continues Vital Humanitarian Support for Returning Refugees at Islam Qala and Milak Border Crossings

The staff and volunteers of the ARCS continue to deliver essential humanitarian aid to repatriated refugees arriving from Iran. Support efforts at the Islam Qala Border Crossing in Herat Province and the Milak Border Crossing in Nimroz Province include the delivery of hot meals, clean drinking water, and medical services.

Today alone, mobile health teams in the area provided medical care to hundreds of returnees. In addition, 4,000 returnees in Herat and 500 in Nimroz received hot meals and safe drinking water.
