The acting vice president of the Afghan Red Crescent Society met with the representatives of the Turkish Red Crescent Society in Kabul!
Today, on Monday, 14th of March 2022 Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, vice president of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, met with Mr. Farid Zia, representative of the Turkish Red Crescent Society during the distribution and plan of 994 tons of food and non-food items, which will be delivered to the country through the Tor ghondi port today and handed over to the Afghan Red Crescent Society.
Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, vice president of the ARCS thanked Turkey for its assistance and promised that the aid would be distributed to the country in a transparent manner and will be distributed to needy families in the remaining 17 provinces of the country. Mr. Farid Zia thanked the Afghan Red Crescent Society for its past efforts and cooperation in assisting in the distribution of aid with full transparency.
He added that during the holy month of Ramadan, with the help of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, it is planned to provide food items to 300-400 needy families every day. In addition to above mentioned assistance during the month of Ramadan, the Red Crescent will also distribute food aid to 600-750 other needy families.
