The Acting General Secretary of ARCS Meets the Partners of this National Humanitarian Organization!

Today, Thursday, the 20th of March, Mawlawi Rohullah Abdul Salaam, the Acting Secretary General of ARCS, and the Under-secretary Generals convened a meeting with several humanitarian partners of this organization, including representatives of the International Federation and national societies of Qatar, Türkiye, Denmark, and Norway. The meeting was centered on the provision of healthcare services and food and non-food items to returnees from neighboring countries.
During the meeting, the Acting Secretary General of ARCS in his remarks appreciated partners for their strong coordination, effective and unwavering support and underscored the significance of their assistance with ARCS in alleviating the suffering of vulnerable and impoverished people .
Further, he urged the humanitarian partners to provide programs that can support returning refugee families upon their arrival to Afghanistan with hot meals, potable water, transportation to their home regions, provision of shelters and programs to facilitate their self-reliance in the future.
In turn, the humanitarian partners in their remarks underscored the importance of coordination and cooperation in implementing joint efforts and services and pledged to sustain their cooperation and support in various sectors.
