ARCS General President Holds Online Meeting with UK’s Special Representative for Afghanistan to Discuss Challenges Faced by Displaced and Vulnerable Families

Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, held an online meeting with Mr. Richard Lindsay, Special Representative of the United Kingdom for Afghanistan, to discuss challenges faced by internally displaced families and those affected by recent rainfall.

During the meeting, the General President provided information on the distribution of cash assistance, food, and non-food items to displaced families by the ARCS, and highlighted the situation and needs of families affected by the recent rains.

Mr. Delawar stated, “The ARCS continuously provides humanitarian assistance to vulnerable, refugee, and female-headed families, and strives to ensure that aid reaches deserving families in a timely and organized manner.”

At the end, Mr. Lindsey praised the humanitarian efforts of the ARCS. While pledging to continue cooperation, he assured of the United Kingdom’s continued support for expanding humanitarian assistance and helping those in need.
