Baghlan: Nearly 16 Million Afghanis Distributed to Vulnerable Farmers

Wednesday, October 8, 2025

The ARCS, with support from the ICRC, has distributed a total of AFN 15,625,000 in cash assistance to 625 drought-affected farmers in Nahrin district of Baghlan province, with each farmer receiving 25,000 Afghanis in financial support.
This assistance aims to help farmers purchase agricultural tools, improved seed varieties, and access water management systems, thereby enhancing their self-reliance in agriculture.
Notably, just a short time ago, an additional AFN 15 million was distributed among 600 vulnerable farmers in the same district.
