On Sunday, 31st of July, Al-Hajj Mawlavi NoorUddin "Turabi” vice president of the Afghan Red Crescent, met with Mr. Ahmed, the representative of the Qatar Red Crescent Society, in his office.

In the meeting, Mawlavi NoorUddin "Turabi”  vice president of the ARCS presented information about the severe drought in many provinces of Afghanistan and requested the representative of the Qatar Red Crescent Society to dig deep wells for drinking water.

After that, Mr. Ahmed, the representative of the Qatar Red Crescent Society, promised that in the first phase, he will dig deep wells of clean water in the Uruzgan and Samangan provinces, and in the second phase, extend the process of digging wells to other provinces as well. Finally, Mr. Ahmed submitted information and a report on the projects that were carried out in Afghanistan with the help of the Qatar and cooperation of the ARCS.
