Ramadan and Humanitarian Support: Food Aid Distributed to 1,000 Repatriated Families in Kabul

Tuesday, February 24, 2026

The ARCS, with support from Peace Village International, distributed food aid to 1,000 repatriated families at its central Marastoon in Kabul to help meet their basic needs during Ramadan.
The aid was provided in the presence of Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, several central office directors, and advisors.
During the distribution, Mr. Delawar assured the repatriated families that additional humanitarian support would be provided. He noted that, so far, the ARCS has assisted 4,000 repatriated families in Kabul through multiple phases.
He added that aid distribution continues across 24 provinces of the country to address challenges faced by refugees, and the ARCS is working to extend similar humanitarian programs to other parts of the country as resources allow.
It is worth noting that each family received 50 kg of flour, 10 liters of oil, 1 kg of powdered milk, 8 kg of macaroni, 1 kg of tea, 5 kg of sugar, 2 kg of salt, and biscuits.
