هلالاحمر افغانی، بهمنظور حمایت عاجل و بشری به ۲۵۰ خانوادهٔ زلزلهزده در ولسوالی حضرت سلطان ولایت سمنگان، مبلغ دو میلیون و ششصد و بیست و پنج هزار (۲٬۶۲۵٬۰۰۰) افغانی کمک نقدی توزیع نمود که به هر خانواده ۱۰٬۵۰۰ افغانی مساعدت شد.
قابل ذکر است که چندی قبل نیز در این ولسوالی، به ۲۰۰ خانوادهٔ زلزلهزده بیش از دو میلیون افغانی توزیع شده بود.
