هلالاحمر افغانی، بهمنظور رفع نیازهای عاجل، برای ۴۰۰ خانوادهٔ زلزلهزده در اسعدآباد مرکز ولایت کنر و ولسوالی وټپور این ولایت، مبلغ چهار میلیون و دوصد هزار (۴,۲۰۰,۰۰۰) افغانی کمک نقدی توزیع کرد که به هر خانواده ۱۰٬۵۰۰ افغانی مساعدت شد.
با دریافت این کمک، بخشی از نیازهای اولیهٔ خانوادهها یاد شده تأمین شده و مشکلات اقتصادی آنان تا حدی کاهش خواهد یافت.
