To provide services to the affected people due to recent floods in Laghman province, ARCS has established a large medical and residential service camp in the capital for the victims.

To closely visit the damaged houses and camp, Mr. Mawlavi Matiulhaq "khalis" Acting General President of Afghan Red Crescent travelled to the area, besides visiting the damaged houses, has also paid visit to ARCS healthcare and residential camp.

He told to the beneficiaries of the camp, "Providing services & helping vulnerable people is considered ARCS' top priority". He called upon the international charitable foundations to help the displaced families & flood affected sites.

After visiting the camp, Mr. Mawlavi Matiulhaq "khalis" Acting General President of ARCSC, paid visit to those areas, where houses were destroyed by the floods. During visit of damaged houses in different villages, Mr. Khalis listened the problems of the residents.

Regarding better help of flood victims he also met Mawlavi Saeed "Ahmad"-Deputy Governor- Laghman province, & Mawlavi Faisal "Mukhtar" security commander.
