Meeting Convened to Strengthen Collaboration Between ARCS and IFRC!

Today, Monday, May 19th, Mawlawi Rohullah Abdul Salaam, the Acting Secretary General of ARCS, held a meeting at his office with Mr. Milen Gezdawek, Acting Head of IFRC in Afghanistan, and Ms. Pui Wah Alice Ho, Asia-Pacific Regional Head for Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting, and Quality Assurance.

During the meeting, the Acting Secretary General reaffirmed the commitments to the pledges made by the former leadership of ARCS at the 11th Asia-Pacific Conference of 51 national societies. 

He also expressed his gratitude to IFRC for its sustained collaboration, efforts, and exemplary coordination.

In turn, Asia-Pacific Regional Head for Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting, and Quality Assurance delivered a comprehensive presentation outlining the key thematic areas discussed during the previous conference. 

Her briefing included insights on volunteers services, strengthening the national societies, climate change, disaster preparedness, and the development of domestic revenue sources for national societies. She further elaborated on specific commitments undertaken previously and pledged full cooperation with ARCS for enhancing service delivery.
