The ARCS distributed 1.5 million AFN in cash assistance to 250 repatriated migrant families in various areas of Kabul city’s 12th and 21st districts to support self-reliance and the establishment of small businesses.

The assistance was provided by the IFRC, through which each family received 20,000 AFN.

The families are expected to use this cash assistance to start small businesses so they can meet their daily and urgent needs and take steps toward self-reliance.

The ARCS considers it its humanitarian responsibility to create opportunities for economic empowerment and self-reliance for repatriated families through support for small businesses.
