Three-Day Training Workshop on Media Crisis Management Begins for Information and Dissemination Officers

The Information and Dissemination Department of the ARCS has launched a three-day training and practical workshop for its officers from the central headquarters and provincial branches.

The workshop, titled “Media Crisis Management, Content Development, and Reporting During Crisis Situations,” is being held with financial support from the ICRC.

At the opening ceremony, the Director of the Information and Dissemination Department of ARCS, Mr. Juma Khan Nael, highlighted the importance and necessity of the workshop. He stated that timely media coverage of ARCS activities and conveying the voice of the people to the public is a shared responsibility of all officers. He also encouraged participants to make full use of this opportunity to strengthen their professional skills.

During the workshop, participants will receive both theoretical and practical training on news content development, press release writing, photography, videography, and report writing during crisis situations.
