Three-Day Training Workshop Held on Safe Access

A three-day training workshop on Safe Access was launched with the support of the ICRC for 20 staff members from the Safety and Protection Department of the ARCS, representing both the central office and regional zones.
During the opening session, Mawlawi Abdul Baqi Khairkhwah, Director of Safety and Protection at the ARCS, emphasized the importance of such initiatives for strengthening understanding of the Safe Access framework, objectives, methods, and tools. He also expressed appreciation for the ICRC’s continued cooperation and support.
Throughout the workshop, participants will receive briefings on the Safe Access framework, its core components, guiding principles, and objectives. The training aims to help them ensure staff safety during emergencies, uphold the seven Fundamental Principles while delivering humanitarian assistance, and enhance efforts in risk assessment and management.
