Cash Assistance Distributed to 42 Families Affected by Recent Floods in Nangarhar and Jawzjan

The ARCS distributed 1,260,000 Afghanis in cash assistance to 39 families in Jalalabad city of Nangarhar province and the districts of Pachir Aw Agam, Khogyani, Nazyan, Sherzad, Chaparhar, Behsud, Spin Ghar, Haska Meyna, Ghani Khel, and Surkh Rod, as well as to 3 affected families in Sheberghan city, the capital of Jawzjan province, and Darzab district, who suffered personal and financial losses due to the recent floods.

The assistance was provided by the Red Cross Society of China, through which each family received 30,000 Afghanis to help meet their basic needs.
