Fifth Day of Aid Distribution in Nuristan: Food Assistance Provided to 2,000 Families

The distribution of food assistance to families affected by armed conflict in Kamdesh district of Nuristan province continued for the fifth consecutive day. Today as well, assistance was provided to 2,000 families in various villages in the Oor Maro and Kamu areas of the district. The assistance consisted of flour, cooking oil, lentils, salt, and handwashing soap.

The operation is being carried out through the joint coordination of the ARCS, the ICRC, and WFP.
