Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of ARCS, met at the central headquarters with elders of the Alozai tribe to discuss addressing the challenges faced by repatriated refugees from neighboring countries in Nangarhar and Logar provinces, as well as the provision of emergency assistance for them.
During the meeting, the tribal elders shared the problems and urgent needs of the returned families. They requested the provision of emergency food assistance, along with adequate shelter and healthcare services. They stated, “The repatriated refugees are facing serious economic hardships and require comprehensive support.”
After hearing their concerns, Mr. Delawar assured them that, in coordination with partner organizations, timely measures would be taken to address the refugees’ urgent needs. He also pledged that, in the near future, mobile health teams would be deployed to these areas to provide essential healthcare services and address health-related challenges.
