Support for Refugees, Vulnerable, and Disaster-Affected People: Meeting Held Between ARCS and Türkiye’s IHH Foundation

A meeting was held between Mr. Hafiz Azizur Rahman, Vice President of the ARCS, and Mr. Suleman Abti, Director of Türkiye’s IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation in Afghanistan, along with his delegation, to discuss ongoing cooperation and support for refugees, disaster-affected individuals, and female-headed families.
In his remarks, the ARCS Vice President emphasized the importance of assistance from the Republic of Türkiye and its humanitarian organizations for vulnerable, female-headed, and affected families, noting that humanitarian aid plays a vital role in disaster management and alleviating people’s hardships. He urged IHH officials to expand their support in light of the growing number of disaster-affected people and returning refugees, and assured them that ARCS is fully prepared to provide all necessary facilitation.
Mr. Abti expressed his commitment to expanding humanitarian efforts through ARCS and added that they are working closely with the society to provide timely assistance to refugees, female-headed households, and earthquake-affected families, with the aim of further increasing their support in these areas.
