Danish Red Cross: We Remain Committed to Supporting the People in Afghanistan

Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, along with Vice President Hafiz Azizur Rahman, held a coordination meeting with Ms. Johanna, the Regional Head for Asia and Europe of the Danish Red Cross (DRC), and Mr. Mohammad Shama, the Head of the DRC Office in Afghanistan, to discuss joint humanitarian cooperation and services.
During the meeting, Mr. Delawar provided detailed information on the humanitarian services currently being delivered by ARCS across the country. He thanked the DRC for its support and cooperation and noted that the joint efforts of both organizations can further strengthen the quality and impact of humanitarian assistance in Afghanistan. He emphasized that ARCS welcomes any joint humanitarian programs that help improve people’s lives.
In her remarks, Ms. Johanna stated that DRC remains committed to supporting the people of Afghanistan and expressed their intention to assist even more Afghans through ARCS. She praised the efforts of the ARCS and pledged to provide winter assistance to the earthquake-affected families in Kunar province.
