هلالاحمر افغانی، مبلغ دو میلیون و صد هزار (۲,۱۰۰,۰۰۰) افغانی کمک نقدی را بهمنظور رسیدگی به نیازهای عاجل برای ۲۰۰ خانوادهٔ زلزلهزده در ولسوالی حضرت سلطانِ ولایت سمنگان توزیع کرد که به هر خانواده ۱۰,۵۰۰ افغانی مساعدت شد.
قابل ذکر است که چند روز پیش نیز در ولسوالیهای فیروزنخچیر و خُلم این ولایت، برای ۵۵۰ خانوادهٔ زلزلهزده کمکهای غذایی و غیرغذایی توزیع شده بود.
