Over AFN 3 Million Project Launched in Paktia, Creating Dozens of Employment Opportunities

The ARCS has launched a cash-for-work project worth AFN 3,078,884 across several villages in Dand-e-Patan district of Paktia Province. The initiative aims to create employment opportunities for 67 individuals, comprising both skilled and unskilled laborers.
Under this project, workers will participate in the construction of irrigation canals and the cleaning of traditional water systems, locally known as karezes. Each skilled worker will receive AFN 800 per day, while unskilled workers will be paid AFN 400 daily.
