On 19th November, ARCS distributed the remaining 40% cash assistance installment which totals 9142000 AFN for the rehabilitation of houses to 530 families, who were destroyed by severe earthquakes in the Barmal district of Paktika Province. Earlier, ARCS also distributed 60% installment which totals 13432000 AFN to the afore-mentioned 530 families, where a total of 22574000 AFN has been distributed. The afore-mentioned aid was provided with the financial support of ICRC, which is distributed in the following order: In the first category, 40% of installments were distributed to 90 families, in which every family received 30,000 AFN. In the second category, 40% of installments were distributed to 166 families, in which each family received 19,000 AFN. In the third category, 40% of installments were distributed to 274 families, in which each family received 12,000 AFN. It's commendable that earlier ARCS also distributed 28672000 AFN as cash assistance to 614 earthquake-hit families in the Gayan district of the very province.
