Nangarhar: ARCS Provides Emergency Relief to a Person with Disability

Saturday, November 29, 2025

During a visit to Nangarhar province, Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, the General President of the ARCS, provided food and non-food assistance, including flour, cooking oil, rice, sugar, beans, macaroni, and other essential items, along with a cash grant to a family whose breadwinner has been paralyzed for several years and is unable to work.
Mr. Delawar assured the head of the family that they will receive monthly financial support under the ARCS outreach beneficiaries program. He also instructed officials of the Eastern Zone Directorate to provide an additional package of non-food aid in the near future.
The ARCS, based on its fundamental principles and humanitarian commitment, considers supporting vulnerable families, including those without guardians, a key responsibility.
