ARCS has provided 133,000 Afghanis in cash assistance to 27 families engaged in street begging in Maidan Wardak province. Depending on household size, families received either 5,000 AFN or 2,000 AFN, transferred directly to their bank accounts.
ARCS continues to provide similar cash assistance to these families on a monthly basis.
