Humanitarian Assistance Delivered to 100 Repatriated Refugee and Vulnerable Families

In the esteemed presence of the Acting General President of ARCS, Sheikh Ul Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, and the Head of the Turkish Red Crescent in Afghanistan, Mr. Naeemullah Karimi, food and non-food assistance, provided by the Turkish Red Crescent and the Red Cross Society of China, was distributed to 100 vulnerable and repatriated refugee families.

During the course of the aid distribution, the Acting President expressed profound gratitude to the governments of Türkiye and China for their continued and previous humanitarian contributions, particularly in observance of the sacred days of Dhul-Hijjah and the forthcoming Eid. He underscored the critical role such assistance plays in meeting the basic needs of destitute families and pledged to uphold absolute equity and impartiality throughout the distribution process.

Subsequently, the Head of the Turkish Red Crescent in Afghanistan lauded ARCS for its outstanding humanitarian services and reiterated to sustain humanitarian support in Afghanistan.

It is noteworthy that each family received a food package comprising 50 kg of flour, 10 kg of rice, 5 kg of beans, 5 liters of cooking oil, and a parcel containing tea, sugar, tomato paste, and biscuits. 

The non-food relief items comprised 3 blankets, 5 towels, 5 pairs of footwear, 5 bowls, along with other essential household supplies.
