At the Central Marastoon of the ARCS, supplies valued at 1.4 million Afghanis were distributed to 40 repatriated families in the presence of Vice President Hafiz Azizur Rahman.
During the distribution, the Vice President expressed his happiness about the return of repatriated families to the country. He emphasized that these returnees, drawing on their vocational skills and work experience, are not only able to support their own households but can also play a significant and effective role in the economic growth and social development of Afghanistan.
Mr. Rahman also expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by Hong Kong, highlighting that such support is invaluable to vulnerable and repatriated families. He added that this aid will help meet their daily needs effectively.
As part of the aid, each family received supplies worth 35,000 Afghanis tailored to their individual skills and trades. These included materials for tailoring, embroidery, auto mechanic work, poultry farming, mobile phone repair, food vending, and other professions, aimed at enabling them to create job opportunities and generate income.
Providing services and support to repatriated families and meeting their basic needs remain top priorities for the ARCS.
