Maulvi Matiul Haq Khalis Acting President of the ARCS held a joint meeting in Doha with Representatives from Japan, Saudi, UK, France, Sweden, Italy, Canada, Malaysia and Netherlands.

In addition to representatives of the USA and Norway, a joint meeting with representatives of the Red Cross and the IFRC for Afghanistan was held. The Acting President of the ARCS spoke about the achievements and future plans of the ARCS and the needs of the Afghan people.

He also called on the participants to increase their cooperation with the ARCS. These issues were warmly welcomed by the participants, followed by convincing comprehensive answers from the Afghan Red Crescent leadership to the questions asked by the participants.
