Acting President of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, held a meeting pertaining humanitarian aid with the ambassador of Japan in Afghanistan, the in charge of Japan's JICA Charity Foundation, and the head of the International Federation in Afghanistan!
On the 26th of July 2022, Mawlavi Matiul Haq Khalis, the Acting President of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, held a meeting pertaining humanitarian aid with the ambassador of Japan in Afghanistan, the in charge of Japan's JICA Charity Foundation, and the head of the International Federation in Afghanistan. In meeting the rapid distribution of humanitarian aid to the needy people in Afghanistan was discussed.
The Japanese Ambassador appreciated ARCS on well distribution of Japan's aid to Afghanistan and hoped more cooperation in the future.
He stated that Japan planning to donate 3 million USD to the Afghan Red Crescent via the International Federation, which will be disbursed in health, disasters, housing, and other necessary segments. In meeting, Mawlavi Matiul Haq Khalis the Acting President of ARCS, assured meeting participants regarding transparency in the distribution of aid. Further, He requested the Ambassador of Japan in Afghanistan that to boost the relationship it is significant thattheir representative shall work together with ARCS regarding Humanitarian Aid.
Mawlavi Matiul Haq Khalis, requested the Ambassador to play vigorous role in capacity building, houses construction, strengthening agricultural sector, & increase of cash assistance to needy families.
