25th of January 22022 the acting director of ARCS Maulvi Matiul Haq Khalis, called on the international community at a conference on Afghanistan in the Norwegian capital, Oslo, that Humanitarian aid should not be related to politics & provide extensive humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan beyond politics. He called on the international community if they wanted to send humanitarian aid to Afghanistan and ensure its transparent distribution so send humanitarian aid to Afghanistan through the Afghan Red Crescent Society.

The Acting Director of the ARCS assured the international community that their assistance would be provided by the Afghan Red Crescent Society in full transparency and honesty. He noted the unprecedented distribution of aid by the Afghan Red Crescent Society to the needy families over the past five months and said that the Afghan Red Crescent Society has provided food and non-food items to about 42,000 families in the last five months & want to expand the distribution of aid to needy families in Afghanistan.
