ARCS Holds Training Workshop on Developing Finance Policy

ARCS organized a training workshop on the development of a finance policy at its central headquarters. The event was attended by several senior directors, heads of units, and representatives of partner organizations in Afghanistan, including the ICRC, IFRC, and the Red Crescent Societies of Qatar and Türkiye, as well as the Red Cross Societies of Norway and Denmark. The workshop provided a platform for participants to discuss the creation of a new and effective finance policy for the ARCS. In his opening remarks, ARCS Director of Finance, Mr. Hafiz Shabir Ahmad Osmani, expressed his appreciation for the initiative, stating that the development of the new policy will be an important step towards transparency, accountability, and efficient financial management, further strengthening the organization’s financial governance.
