Over 7 Tons of Food Aid from Azerbaijan Handed Over to ARCS

The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Afghanistan, Ilham Mohammadov, handed over 150 food aid packages to Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, and Vice President Hafiz Azizur Rahman at the organization’s central headquarters. The assistance is intended to support vulnerable and destitute families.
During the handover ceremony, Mr. Delawar expressed his gratitude for Azerbaijan’s humanitarian assistance and assured that the aid will be distributed to deserving families with full transparency. He noted that such support can help ease the economic hardships faced by vulnerable households to some extent.
Ambassador Ilham Mohammadov stated that his country will continue to support the people of Afghanistan through humanitarian assistance. He also expressed hope that the aid would help alleviate some of the challenges faced by families in need.
Each food package weighs 47 kilograms and includes flour, rice, macaroni, cooking oil, soybeans, and tea.
