A one-day training workshop on disaster preparedness and risk reduction was held at the central headquarters of the ARCS for the heads of the Disaster Management, International Relations, Youth and Volunteers, Marastoon, and Health departments.

The workshop was organized with financial support from the Danish Red Cross and was attended by representatives of the IFRC, the Turkish Red Crescent, and the Norwegian Red Cross.

During the workshop, participants received essential information and practical guidance on disaster preparedness, risk assessment, risk reduction measures, and ways to prevent potential human and financial losses resulting from natural disasters.

The ARCS strives to strengthen preparedness and enhance the effectiveness of disaster response by building the capacity of its staff and officials.
