Kabul: Two-Day Crisis Management Training Workshop Launched

A two-day training workshop on crisis management has begun for staff from various departments of the ARCS central headquarters, as well as regional zone officers affiliated with the Protection and Safety Department.

During the opening ceremony, Mawlawi Abdul Baqi Khairkhwah, Head of the Protection and Safety Department of the ARCS, spoke about the importance of the training program and emphasized the need to enhance employees’ professional capacities for effective crisis management.

He added that participants will gain essential knowledge and practical skills in crisis management, preparedness, coordination, and timely response through the workshop.

The training workshop, organized with financial support from the ICRC, will provide participants with specialized instruction and practical training on crisis management, risk assessment, preparedness, coordination, and effective emergency response, delivered by expert trainers.

The ARCS strives to strengthen the professional capacities of its staff through training programs aimed at enhancing capabilities across various humanitarian and operational sectors.
