Workshop Launched on Delivering Enhanced Health Services

Tuesday, September 23, 2025

A two-day training workshop aimed at strengthening the quality and efficiency of healthcare delivery has been launched under the auspices of the ARCS Health Department, with financial support from the Finnish Red Cross, for staff from Kabul, Herat, and Badghis provinces.
The opening session was attended by Mawlawi Rohullah Abdul Salam, Under-Secretary General for Operational Affairs of the ARCS, and Mr. Ahmad Suleiman, Program Manager of the IFRC in Afghanistan. In their addresses, officials underscored the imperative of accelerating and enhancing healthcare services and urged participants to make full use of the training by incorporating innovation and best practices into their professional duties.
Notably, over the course of the two days, healthcare workers will receive training and awareness on effective planning, designing health-related projects, and preventing the recurrence of past shortcomings.
