The ARCS, with support from the Danish Red Cross, distributed assistance worth 2.1 million AFN to 60 repatriated families in Herat Province, including Herat city as well as Guzara and Injil districts.

As part of the assistance, each family was provided with essential tools for starting small businesses, such as tailoring, embroidery, handicrafts, butchery, and mobile phone repair equipment, valued at 35,000 Afghanis.

It is expected that through this support, the families will gain sustainable sources of income and reduce their dependence on others.

The ARCS continues its efforts to support the self-reliance of returning families and to improve their economic conditions.
