هلال‌احمر افغانی، به‌منظور کاهش سطح فقر، برای ۵۰۰ خانوادهٔ زلزله‌زده در قریه‌های مختلف ولسوالی‌های البرز و چارکنت ولایت بلخ، ۳۹ تُن کمک مواد غذایی توزیع کرد.
این کمک که از سوی مرکز کمک‌های بشرى ملک سلمان فراهم شده بود، به هر خانواده ۷۸ کیلوگرام مواد غذایی شامل آرد، روغن، برنج، بوره، لوبیا و خرما مساعدت شد.
