Afghan Red Crescent has established a large center for the treatment & care of psychiatric patients in Nangarhar province in the eastern zone, which started its operation about nine months ago. So far, a total of 1049 psychiatric patients from 14 provinces have visited the center, out of these 70 psychiatric patients are under treatment. Along with treatment, these patients are also provided healthy food according to the menu.
