At the opening ceremony, Hossam Faysal, Head of the IFRC Delegation in Afghanistan, described the ARCS’s healthcare activities as effective and said the workshop would provide an opportunity to share experiences and information to strengthen preparedness for emergencies. He emphasized the importance of delivering timely and effective humanitarian and healthcare services through volunteers during emergencies.
