Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS, met with a number of Uzbek businessmen in his office to discuss the provision of the medicines needed for cardiac and mental health patients, as well as the expansion of health cooperation.

During the meeting, Mr. Delawar provided information about the humanitarian and health services of the ARCS and said that the organization has established a well-equipped specialized hospital for the treatment of congenital heart defect patients, which will begin its operations in the near future. The hospital will provide surgery and treatment services to around 2,000 congenital heart defect patients annually.

He added that the ARCS is currently treating nearly 1,500 mental health patients at various centers across the country, while more than 1,500 other patients are receiving healthcare services and continuous medication in their homes.

Mr. Delawar requested the Uzbek businessmen to cooperate with the ARCS in providing the medicines needed for cardiac and mental health patients and in strengthening health services.

On the other hand, the Uzbek businessmen praised the humanitarian and health activities of the ARCS and assured that they would provide the necessary cooperation with the organization in supplying the medicines required for these patients.

Both sides emphasized the continuation of joint cooperation to expand health cooperation, ensure the supply of medicines, and strengthen facilities for the treatment of patients in need.
