International Cooperation for Refugee Support: ARCS and 38 National Societies Hold Virtual Meeting

Sheikh Ul Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, Acting President of the ARCS, together with Vice President Hafiz Azizur Rahman, convened a high-level online meeting with representatives from 38 national societies. The meeting, also attended by Mr. Ahmad Suleiman, Deputy Head of Delegation of the IFRC in Afghanistan, focused on refugee support and other pressing issues. 
In his address, Mr. Delawar emphasized the importance of strengthening joint collaboration and enhancing coordination to support returnees from neighboring countries. He outlined the major challenges faced by returnees, highlighted their needs, and briefed participants on the current services provided by the ARCS. He also called for the timely delivery of essential assistance to returnees.
After receiving detailed information about the situation of returnees, representatives of the national societies pledged to enhance their collaboration with the ARCS in order to support returnees and deliver aid tailored to their specific needs.
