Food Aid Distributed to 200 Vulnerable Families in Kabul During Ramadan

The ARCS distributed food assistance to 200 vulnerable families at its Central Marastoon in Kabul.
The assistance, funded by the Diyanet Foundation of Türkiye, included nine essential food items.
The distribution ceremony was attended by Sheikh-ul-Hadith Shahabuddin Delawar, General President of the ARCS; Sadin Ayyildiz, Ambassador of Türkiye to Afghanistan; and Dr. Emrah Kan Demir, Head of the Diyanet Foundation in Afghanistan.
In his remarks, Mr. Delawar expressed appreciation for the Foundation’s humanitarian support, noting that such assistance plays a vital role in addressing the basic needs of vulnerable households. He stated that the ARCS, in line with its humanitarian responsibilities, always strives to provide continuous assistance to vulnerable, impoverished, and affected families.
Ambassador Ayyildiz stated, “Türkiye will continue its humanitarian assistance to the people of Afghanistan and will strive to further strengthen the bonds of friendship and brotherhood.”
Dr. Kan Demir emphasized that supporting vulnerable Afghans is both a religious and moral responsibility. He pledged that similar humanitarian initiatives would continue in the future to help struggling families overcome hardships.
It is worth noting that the distributed aid package included 24 kg of flour, 10 liters of cooking oil, 8 kg of rice, 8 kg of beans, 12 kg of macaroni, 2 kg of tea, 8 kg of sugar, 4 packets of salt, and 4 cans of tomato paste for each family.
